Homeownership

If you’re ready to make a change in your life through affordable homeownership, Habitat for Humanity may be for you.

Why Habitat Homeownership?

Decent shelter is something we all need to thrive. If you’re living in overcrowded or unsafe housing, have a job or income but can’t afford your rent, and are ready for the responsibilities of homeownership, you may qualify for Habitat’s affordable homeownership.

Everyone needs a place to call home.

In our community, individuals and families partner with Habitat every day to build a safe place to call home. But we can’t do it alone. It takes a lot of volunteers, donations and support to create a safe and decent place to live. Without partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations, the transformations we see in these individuals and families wouldn’t be possible.

Habitat Homeownership Program

We’re devoted to building stronger neighborhoods and communities here in Loveland.

Habitat homes are affordable because:

  • They are built by volunteers working with future homeowners
  • House payments are 30% of the applicant’s household monthly income at closing
  • Habitat offers no-interest mortgage loans
