Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent and affordable place to live in dignity and safety. All across America, individuals and families struggle to find affordable places to live. Habitat seeks to remedy this injustice by providing families with a hand-up, not a hand out, to own their home and pay an affordable mortgage.
Loveland Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1987 by a small group of forward thinking community and religious leaders. Through their common interest in making Loveland the best city that it could be, these visionaries recognized a growing need for safe and affordable homes for Loveland’s low income families. Since our founding, Loveland Habitat has completed over 150 new homes in Loveland.
We welcome volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and serve people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion.
Founded in Americus, Georgia, USA, in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped build, renovate and repair more than 1 million homes for more than 5 million people around the world. Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian housing ministry committed to giving hardworking, low-income people a hand up, not a hand out.
Loveland Habitat for Humanity’s Federal Tax ID number is 84-1066816.
